Teflon High Temp Belt

PTFE Conveyor Belt printing food processing & sealing applications

PTFE conveyor belts are manufactured using fiberglass cloth as the base substrate, impregnated and coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion to produce base fabric in various specifications, which is then processed through specialized techniques into finished conveyor belts of various dimensions. These belts combine the high-temperature resistance and high tensile strength of fiberglass woven fabric with the outstanding insulation, non-stick, and low-friction properties of PTFE — making them a high-performance, multi-purpose high-temperature conveyor belt solution.

Performance Characteristics

  1. Flex Fatigue Resistance
Excellent resistance to bending and flex fatigue, suitable for use with smaller pulley diameters within machinery.
  2. Dimensional Stability & High Tensile Strength
Superior dimensional stability with an elongation coefficient of less than 5‰, delivering excellent mechanical performance throughout service life.
  3. Outstanding Non-Stick Properties
Virtually nothing adheres to the belt surface; various oil stains, contaminants, and other deposits attached to the surface can be effortlessly cleaned.
  4. Exceptional Chemical Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, aqua regia, and a wide range of organic solvents.
  5. Excellent Thermal Resistance
Capable of long-term continuous operation across a temperature range of -180°C to 300°C without cracking, aging, or combustion.
  6. High Electrical Insulation & Additional Properties
High dielectric insulation performance, low coefficient of friction, non-toxic, odorless, UV-resistant, and anti-static.

Application Scope
PTFE conveyor belts are high-performance, multi-purpose high-temperature conveyor belts widely used across a broad range of industrial applications, including:

Print drying guide belts
UV drying systems and UV-series photo-curing machines
Open-width relaxation dryers
Nonwoven fabric drying machines
High-frequency dryers
Food baking machine guide belts
Temperature-controlled drying rooms
Rapid drying systems for solvent-based inks
General moisture-content material drying conveyors
Fusing machine belts and sealing machine belts
Production line conveyor belts for various special operating environments

Joint / Splice Methods

  1. Mechanical Fastener Joints (Detachable)
Bull-nose (lace) type, hinge type, and alligator clip type steel fastener joints — all fully detachable for on-site replacement.
  2. Heat-Welded Closed-Loop Joints (Non-Detachable)
Butt joint, overlap (lap) joint, and skived overlap joint — thermally bonded into a seamless closed-loop belt; non-detachable.

Edge Binding Methods

  1. PTFE fabric edge binding
  2. Kevlar (aramid) fabric edge binding
  3. PTFE film edge binding
