PTFE Mesh Conveyor Belts are high-performance, multi-purpose composite products manufactured by impregnating high-performance fiberglass mesh with suspended polytetrafluoroethylene (commonly known as “the King of Plastics”) emulsion. Due to their exceptional properties, they are widely utilized in papermaking, food processing, environmental protection, printing and dyeing, apparel, chemical, glass, pharmaceutical, electronics, insulation, grinding wheel slicing, and machinery industries.
Core Performance Characteristics
- Temperature Resistance: Operates stably between -70°C and 260°C with excellent weatherability and aging resistance. Practical tests show that continuous exposure to 250°C for 200 days results in no loss of strength or weight. At 350°C for 120 hours, weight loss is only approx. 0.6%. At -180°C, it remains flexible without cracking.
- Non-Adhesive Property: Resists adhesion of almost all substances. Oils, stains, and residues are easily cleaned; adhesives such as pastes, resins, and coatings can be effortlessly removed.
- Chemical Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to strong acids, alkalis, aqua regia, and various organic solvents.
- Dimensional Stability & High Strength: Features a low elongation coefficient (< 5‰) and high mechanical strength.
- Flexural Fatigue Resistance: Durable under repeated bending, suitable for conveyor systems with smaller pulley diameters.
- Chemical Inertness & Non-Toxicity: Resistant to nearly all pharmaceutical agents; safe and non-toxic.
- Flame Retardancy: Inherently fire-resistant.
- High Permeability: Optimized air permeability reduces heat loss and significantly improves drying efficiency.
Application Scope
Ideal for any process requiring hot air flow or thermal processing transmission:
Textile, Printing & Dyeing: Drying belts for screen printing, bleaching, fabric shrinkage, and non-woven fabric processing.
Screen Printing: (Teflon) PTFE Mesh Conveyor belts for loose dryers, offset presses, UV curing series, paper glazing/drying, and plastic silk-screen drying.
Other Fields: High-frequency/microwave drying, food freezing/thawing, baking, heat shrink packaging, moisture removal, and rapid drying of solvent-based inks.
II. Stainless Steel Mesh Belts
Synonyms: Stainless steel conveyor belts, metal mesh belts, metal transmission belts, stainless steel drive belts.
Industries: Food processing, conveyor machinery.
Classification & Applications
By Use: Annealing and decorating lehrs for the glass industry; pre-treatment lines for dehydrated vegetables and IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) systems; high-temperature furnace belts for powder metallurgy, quenching, sintering, brazing, and carburizing; belts for cleaning, drying, and curing equipment.
By Material: 1Cr13, 201, 304, and 316 stainless steel.
By Geometry: Balanced weave (Herringbone), Flat-flex (Type B), Diamond, Horseshoe (Great Wall), Chain-link, Eye-link, Plate-link, and Spherical mesh.
Product Features
Stainless steel mesh belts are friction-driven mechanical components for continuous material transport. They create a seamless flow from the initial feeding point to the final discharge point, handling both bulk materials and individual items. Beyond simple transport, they integrate with industrial processes to form rhythmic, automated production lines.
Key Attributes: Flat surface, high hardness, superior corrosion resistance, high tensile strength, excellent permeability, anti-deformation, and long-term durability.
Installation & Troubleshooting
- Tracking Issues: If the belt drifts, slowly adjust the tensioning shaft at the driven end. Avoid rapid adjustments to prevent edge damage.
- Vibration/Jitter: Inspect rollers within the conveyor frame and tunnel for rust or rotation resistance; adjust as necessary.
- Chain Jumping/Instability: For chain-driven belts, verify if the sprockets on both ends of the drive shaft are synchronized and check for excessive tooth wear. Product Specifications
